PRESS RELEASE Local Gold Coast Coffee Roasters BesitoCoffee.com Win Silver Decaffeinated Latte Golden Bean Award
In Spanish “besito” means “a little kiss”, which perfectly describes the way Miles Priestley thinks of his coffee roasts and blends — a delicious little kiss of coffee every time, every sip, as you savour the flavour.
Oct. 19, 2014 – GOLD COAST, Australia
Australian coffee roasters have been winning awards since the 1800’s, and the coveted Golden Bean Awards are held each year to showcase the best of the best.
Held in Port Macquarie, NSW from 8th to 11th October 2014, the event covered four days of tamping, grinding, pouring, drinking and judging coffee from many wonderful coffee companies.
Local coffee roaster Miles Priestley participated in the Golden Bean this year, and grabbed a Silver Award for his Decaffeinated (Latte) Coffee.
Miles is bursting with pride, and tells us about his award-winning coffee, “We started roasting decaffeinated beans about 2 years ago out of necessity, as we were asked to by one of the cafes that uses our coffee. We went for a Colombian Supremo, Swiss Water Decaf — we were thrilled with the outcome, and have enjoyed getting consistent feedback from those that prefer the decaf option. My wife and I were also extremely happy with the full bodied flavour.”
Miles’ Besito coffee trailer can be found every Saturday morning at the Burleigh Heads Markets, along with other markets and events around the Coast.
A local lover of Besito coffee said,
“My name’s Teena Hughes and I love Besito Coffee — I first tried it at the Burleigh Heads Market a year ago when I first moved to the Gold Coast. I’m a bit fussy, so I asked for a double-shot latte made with love, and the result was superb! I keep going back to the markets every week or so, to get a coffee made with love by a truly caring Barista named Miles, and each coffee I’ve bought over these past 12 months has had the same excellent taste, and made with loving care. If you’re looking for excellent coffee, with great flavour, and consistent quality, pop over to the Markets and look for Besito Coffee — tell Miles that Teena sent you! Enjoy!”
Many other locals congregate at the coffee trailer on Saturdays, making a special trip for their shot of caffeine, and some folks have said they don’t buy anything else at the markets, they just want to grab a great latte etc — and a bag or two of their favourite roasted beans.
With a Silver Award under his belt, Miles Priestley can be justifiably proud as he continues to provide excellent coffee to the residents of the Gold Coast of Australia (just south of Brisbane).
Roasted coffee is available online at http://BesitoCoffee.com — Miles Priestley can be reached in Australia on 0415 862 088. Drop by the markets and say “Hello!”.
